Family Fun Day

Sundays are officially "Family Fun Days" at our house where we try to get out and experience something a little unordinary for all of us. Yesterday, even though it was drizzling rain most of the day, we took Drew to watch a water ski show. We chose this because he is fascinated by water, boats and anything to do with either of those things right now. Afterward, we went to visit the Bass Pro Shops, because that is eye candy for everyone. We had fun 'exploring' all the different animals and outdoor contraptions on display.
Because of the light rain, we parked by the lake and watched from the car. Here is a shot of his reaction to the first jumping trick the water ski team performed.
Here Drew has made himself at home in a tent-cot at the camping display.
Daddy and Drew 'hiding out' in a camouflage hunter's tent, waiting for animals!
All the benches inside the store have an animal on the backrest. This one was a deer, or, I suppose if you are a hunter, a buck. Drew saw it, said "Hi, deer" and asked to give it a hug.
Trying out the 'tractor' - we know it's a four-wheeler, but he calls it a tractor.
And, last but not least, the super, duper, extra large pompano fish that Drew caught!

That's one heck of a family fun day! At first glance it looked like Drew was driving the car...not watching the show. Way cute! All priceless pictures!

It looks to me like David is just as much "in awe" as Drew is!!
