David's birthday party on Monday could not have turned out any better. We had Dave's parents, my parents, Gary & Jaime, Rick & Cherie & boys, and our neighbors, Bill and Vickie over for Steak and Cake! We grilled big, fat ribeye steaks (per David's request) and followed with authentic, rich Red Velvet cake (a southern must-have) with Cream Cheese Icing and chopped pecans (also at David's request). YUMMY! We had so much fun and welcomed David's thirties with the wonderful blessing of family!

Hey Jen...this Rock Star Party on Friday night -- will there be any kids there? We are thinking about Alex. We can leave her here, but if there are gonna be kids there she might have more fun there. But if this is an adult only party, no big deal. Just let me know either way. We are really looking forward to it. Hey Jen, another question -- I sure hope people are planning to come Friday night dressed as rock stars as you suggested. Are you and David? Who else?
One more thing about that gift we gave David. it was rattling a little bit. I hope the DVDs are ok. but, if they aren't, we kept the receipt so bring it back to us and we'll return it and get you a new one that doesn't rattle. OK? Thanks. :)
