God on the Mountain

A few weeks ago Dave and I escaped for 24 hours in honor of our anniversary. Mom kept the boys for us, and we ran some errands together (an extreme rarity in our household) and also made some spontaneous stops on the way (Big Cypress Marketplace, for one). Anyway, we were gone for part of Saturday and part of Sunday. On Sunday morning, we went to go eat breakfast on the water, and afterward, the Lord literally directed our car to a Baptist church with 25 in attendance, counting us (!). Well, God spoke to both of us in a mighty way during that service, and the end of the service included something that will serve as one of the great spiritual events in my life. That moment was precipitated by one of the dear sweet ladies who welcomed us, with actual open arms, at the beginning of the service, singing this song. I had not heard it in a long, long time - and I had never heard anyone else sing it in my presence except for my late Godmother. The clip below is not from that church service, but rather from a Gaither Gathering, where Gospel Music singer Lynda Randle performs the song.
